Abstract: Before the establishment of both Republic of Korea andState of Israel, Koreans and Jews had contacts in China. The outbreak of theKorean War is of great milestone-style meanings for the South Korea-Israelrelations. After the Cold War and Madrid Middle East peace conference,bilateral relations experienced leaps and bounds and shared God beliefconstitutes the cornerstone. South Korean scholars, Christian groups andChristian politicians play important roles in advancing the South Korea-Israelrelations. Religion’s participation in international relations provides a newparallel path of analysis different from mainstream international relationstheories with materialistic nature and more and more scientification.
